Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
SwayJoy (also "we", "us", "our") runs a platform of motion games that play directly in your browser and are controlled by your body movements through your webcam. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information when you use swayjoy.com and every game on it. The short version: your camera feed never leaves your device, and we do not collect, store, or sell any personal information about you. If you have any questions, email us at info@swayjoy.com.
1. Your camera feed is processed on your device
To play, you give your browser access to your webcam. The video frames are analyzed locally, inside the page, by the MediaPipe framework running on your own device. The sole purpose is to turn your hands and body into game controls in real time. We do not upload, transmit, record, or store your camera feed or the motion data derived from it, and no server ever receives it. When you close the page or revoke camera permission, processing stops immediately.
2. Information we collect
We are deliberately minimal:
- No accounts. We never ask you to sign up, register, or provide your name or email address. The only time we receive an email address is if you write to us yourself, and we use it only to reply.
- Local storage on your device. To remember your progress and preferences, our games store small amounts of data in your browser's local storage on your own device — for example, levels you have unlocked, best scores, and settings such as grab mode, video quality, and sound. This data stays on your device, tied to your browser, and is cleared when you clear your site data.
- Basic technical request data. When you open the site, the hosting and edge infrastructure we use (such as Cloudflare) processes standard technical data to deliver the pages and protect the service: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and timestamps. This is ordinary, short-lived operational logging by our host. It never includes camera frames or motion data.
3. How we use information
We use the limited information above for one purpose: operating the Service. Local storage exists only to remember your progress on your own device, and technical logs exist only so our hosting provider can deliver and secure the pages. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we never sell personal information — we do not hold any to sell.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. We rely on browser local storage (not cookies) to save your game progress and settings, and that storage is first-party — it stays in your browser and is never read by third parties.
5. Third-party services and links
The models, scripts, and fonts a game needs (such as the MediaPipe files and the Tilt Neon and Jost fonts) are served from our own hosts and CDN rather than third-party servers, so no third party receives data from your play session. Some pages contain outbound links to other websites (for example, to Wikipedia for history references). Once you leave SwayJoy, the privacy practices of those sites apply, and we are not responsible for them.
6. Children's privacy
SwayJoy is a general-audience educational and entertainment service and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no personal information and process everything on your device, children can play our games, but if you are under 13, please play with a parent or guardian's involvement and permission. If we learn that personal information of a child under 13 has been sent to us (for example, through an email), we will delete it promptly — please contact us at info@swayjoy.com.
7. Data security
Because no camera feed, motion data, or personal information is stored on our servers, there is little of yours for us to protect — but we still recommend basics on your side: keep your browser and operating system up to date, grant camera access only to sites you trust, and clear your site data whenever you want a fresh start. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be 100% secure, but we have nothing personal stored server-side that an attacker could obtain.
8. Your choices and rights
- Camera permission can be revoked at any time in your browser settings; games that need a camera will stop until you grant it again.
- Progress and settings live on your device. Clear your browser's site data for swayjoy.com to delete them.
- Access and deletion. Since we hold no account and no personal data about you, there is nothing to access or delete on our side. If you have any question about your data, write to us and we will answer.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. If a change is significant, we will call it out. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
